Alibata - the kagay-anon language

Alibata- Stockbridge Consultants - The City of Cagayan de Oro (IPA: /kă-gə'yăn dĕ ôrô/); abbreviated CDO or Cag. de Oro ; Cebuano: Dakbayan sa Cagayan de Oro; Tagalog: Lungsod ng Cagayan de Oro; lies along the northern coastline of Mindanao. It is the provincial capital of the province of Misamis Oriental and the regional center for Northern Mindanao (Region 10). According to the 2000 census, the city has an estimated population of 461,877 individuals with 93,525 households.

Language
Cebuano is the main dialect spoken in the city. Filipino based on Tagalog is spoken as the National Language. English is also widely used.;lll
